HARRISON, N.Y. The Friends of Harrison Football Booster Club is seeking donations from the community to help the team next season.
In launching the first Husky Pride Campaign, the boosters are asking for donations from $25 to $200 from residents who wish to participate. Donors will be labeled as "Husky Fan" ($25), "Proud Husky" ($50), "Loyal Husky" ($100) or "Diehard Husky ($200). Donors' names will be printed in the 2012 program that gets handed out at Harrison home games.
"For decades the Harrison Football Program has been a source of pride and inspiration for our entire community," a donation form released by the Friends of Harrison Football Booster Club says. "Our Huskies have a distinguished record of achievements. Your support will help continue our mission of pride, tradition and excellence."
The deadline for donations is Aug. 20. Checks can be made payable to the Friends of Harrison Football, P.O. Box 852, Harrison, NY 10528. For more information call Anna Cappucci at 914-479-8826.
