Next weekend’s Super Bowl party on your agenda is no excuse to fall prey to a frumpy ensemble. You can show your support for your team, or just the game itself, and still look cute. Here are a few fumble-free fashion tips to help step up your Super Bowl style.

1. 1. Dress like a football fan, not a football player – If you’re going jersey, then girl it up with your hottest pair of skinny jeans and a killer boot – with a heel.
2. 2. Score extra points for accessorizing – It may be football, but it’s still a party. So sport your shiniest earrings and a bag that sparkles. And don’t forget the lipgloss!
3. 3. Sack the sloppy look and stay true to your style – Incorporate your team’s colors or other symbols into your look, and pull it off with your usual panache. Love your leather jacket? Throw it over your jersey for a look with a winning edge. Or pair your favorite mini and patterned stockings with a team tee.
