GREENWICH, Conn. -- Tamar Lurie of Greenwich ranked as the No. 1 sales associate for Coldwell Banker among the company’s more than 2,200 sales associates throughout Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y.
Cathleen Smith, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Connecticut and Westchester County, N.Y., made the announcement. Lurie earned the distinction of being the top sales associate for sales volume earned in Greenwich with almost $100 million in closed sales volume in 2014.
In addition, Lurie will be recognized with the Society of Excellence Award, a prestigious award presented by NRT, the parent company of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage and the nation’s largest residential real estate brokerage company, on May 14 at the Hyatt Regency Greenwich.
Fewer than 2 percent of NRT’s 42,600 sales associates nationwide receive the Society of Excellence Award. She is also a recipient of the Coldwell Banker International President’s Premier award, a distinguished honor presented to the Top 1 percent of 87,000 sales associates worldwide in the Coldwell Banker system.

A 43-year resident of Greenwich, Lurie has earned recognition as one of Coldwell Banker’s Top 25 sales associates nationally. She has consistently ranked among The Wall Street Journal’s Top 100 sales professionals in the country.
With expertise in marketing and selling luxury estates in Greenwich, Lurie has successfully broken town records and negotiated the sale of some of the region’s most exclusive estates. She successfully negotiated the sale of the $27.5 million New York estate owned by Academy Award-winning producer and director Ron Howard in 2014 and currently has an active portfolio of listings that exceeds $200 million, including three of the highest-priced estates in Greenwich.
