Greenwich Realtor Honored With National Young Professional Award

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Theresa Hatton, executive director of the Greenwich Association of Realtors, was recently named by the National Association of Realtors as the Leader of Tomorrow Young Professional’s award recipient.

The award recognizes association executive young professionals who have fostered greater involvement and increased professionalism among their young professional association executive peers and Realtor members.

The award was created to provide greater exposure and awareness of Realtor association management to attract young executives to the profession and to promote young member involvement at all three levels of the Realtor association to ensure a strong base of volunteer leaders.

Hatton has served as an executive in the Realtor organization for the past 10 years, beginning at the Williamson County Association of Realtors in Franklin, Tenn., and has spent the past five as the head of the Greenwich Association of Realtors and Greenwich Multiple Listing Service.

Hatton currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Connecticut Association of Realtors and is Chairperson of the NAR Association Executive Institute’s Advisory Board and a member of the Realtor University Curriculum Review Advisory Committee.

Formerly she chaired the NAR Leadership Academy Advisory Board, several task forces and workgroups and she is a mentor to new professional and teaches webinars for those new professional seeking the Realtor Certified Executive designation.

The National Association of Realtors trade association represents members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industries.
