The list, now in its 12th year, recognizes leading professionals in Fairfield County under the age of 40.

“Lindsay is an exceptional person and we are extremely proud of what she has accomplished in just two years since joining Houlihan Lawrence,” said Chris Meyers, Managing Principal of Houlihan Lawrence. “Her commitment to her clients and community are truly admirable, and we congratulate her on being named to this prestigious list.”

Sheehy has established a remarkable track record, continually increasing her annual sales volume. Her YTD sales through Q1 alone totaled $23,362,000, representing a more than 50percent increase over 2014—positioning her to more than double her business this year.

A Greenwich native and mother of three, Sheehy has experienced firsthand the evolution of the town to the cosmopolitan center it is today, giving her a deep understanding of the neighborhoods, businesses and cultural elements that define the pulse of the storied coastal suburb.

Following her mother’s footsteps into real estate, she holds a master’s degree in social work and led a prior career in family and child counseling. After residing in Boston, Los Angeles, Washington and New York City, the Greenwich Academy alum returned to settle in Riverside with her husband.

Sheehyis an avid philanthropist and dedicated member of the community. She is a principal of B*CURED, an organization that raises funds for vital brain cancer research, working with the group’s grant program and helping raise more than $1 million to date for brain cancer research.

In 2013, her mother was diagnosed with brain cancer and tragically passed away just eight months later. Later that year, Lindsay completed her first New York City Marathon as part of the B*CURED team, and she is currently training to participate in her third.

“Throughout my life I have learned that a connection to family and giving back to community is of the utmost importance,” said Sheehy. “I am honored to be named as one of Fairfield County’s leading business and community members.”

Sheehy, along with the 39 other 40 Under 40 recipients, was honored Thursday during Fairfield County Business Journal’s awards reception at The Maritime Aquarium.
