Berkshire Hathaway personnel learned that N2N was distributing 300 turkeys that were donated by a local market and decided its employees could help by providing the trimmings. In 10 days, the real estate office filled just over 300 bags with food items.

“Neighbor to Neighbor plays a vital role in the Greenwich community and Berkshire Hathaway New England Properties is committed to supporting their mission,'' said Eric Bjork, vice president and director of sales for Berkshire Hathaway New England Properties. "One of our essential core values is compassion and Neighbor to Neighbor exemplifies the power of compassion at work.”

Each month, Neighbor to Neighbor provides enough free food to prepare over 25,000 nutritious meals for needy families in Greenwich. Last year, 129,000 of those meals went to children and 40 percent of the food is donated through individuals and organized food drives.
