The home, known as October Hill, is a manor home on 10-plus acres with 679 feet of river frontage and embraced by 62-plus acres of open space.
The original owner, a Swedish diplomat and post-World War II industrialist, custom-crafted this home to such exacting standards that he imported a team of Italian craftsman to quarry and cut on site all the stone used in its construction.
