A delinquency notice was filed just weeks after Silver was charged on multiple counts of corruption and was forced to step down from his position as speaker. He has, however, retained his seat in the Assembly, NY State of Politics said.

The notice claims Silver failed to properly disclose outside income for a three year period, which could carry a fine of $40,000 for each year, NY State of Politics said.
