Republican Livvy Floren won her seventh consecutive state representative race, defeating Democrat challenger John Blankley for the 149th District seat that includes Greenwich and North Stamford on Tuesday, according to unofficial results from the Greenwich Registrar of Voters.
The votes between Greenwich and Stamford went 6,180 to 3,508 in favor of Floren. Absentee ballots have yet to be counted and are not reflected in the final numbers. About 3,000 absentee ballots across the 19 voting districts in Greenwich will be added to the final tally on Wednesday.
Greenwich voted 4,280 to 1,930 in favor of Floren, who focused on "job creation and retention" as the most important issues in her campaign.
