Greenwich Voters Head To The Polls Today

GREENWICH, Conn. – Greenwich voters will head to the polls today to cast their ballots in the races for president, the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives and state legislative seats.

Fred DeCaro, Greenwich's registrar of voters, said he did not anticipate storm damage or power outages to affect any polling locations.

All eyes, of course, are on the presidential election between President Barack Obama (D), and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R).

The heated race for U.S. Senate in Connecticut will finally come to a head between U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy (D) and Linda McMahon (R). The two are battling to replace the retiring Sen. Joe Lieberman (D).

U.S. Rep. Jim Himes (D) is running for his third term in office against challenger Steve Obsitnik (R).

On the state level, L. Scott Franz (R) is running for his second term as a state senator in Connecticut's 36th District, which includes Greenwich and parts of Stamford and New Canaan. Franz is facing challenges from Dan Dauplaise (D) and Remy Chevalier (Green Party).

Greenwich will also choose three state representatives.  Livvy Floren  (R) will seek her seventh term as the 149th District's representative against John Blankley (D). Stephen Walko (R) takes on Stephanie Paulmeno (D) in the race for the open seat in the 150th District as incumbent Lile R. Gibbons retiries. Incumbent Fred Camillo (R) will try for a third term in the 151st District against challenger David Rafferty (D).

District 5: Riverside School

District 6: Old Greenwich School

District 7: Greenwich High School

District 8: Central Middle School

District 9: Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center

District 10: Glenville School

District 11: North Street School

District 12: North Mianus School
