Danny Frazier, 38, of Post Road East, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and risk of injury to a child. He was held on $10,000 bond after he was arrested while in court on another matter, police said.

In December 2016, officers were called to a Post Road East home on the report of a missing child, police said. It was learned that he was with Frazier.

While in the home, officers saw a clear plastic cigarette wrapper with a small amount of brownish powder that tested positive for heroin inside it laying on the child’s bed, police said. It was evident that the boy had been in the bedroom with the drugs, police said.

Frazier was turned over to the marshall and appeared before a judge the day of his arrest, police said.
