GREENWICH, Conn. – Capt. Larry Roberts of the Greenwich Fire Department captured harrowing footage of the fire that destroyed three homes and a carriage house in Old Greenwich during the height of Hurricane Sandy.

Greenwich Fire Chief Peter J. Siecienski detailed the efforts of the fire department to put out the fierce blaze on Tuesday.

The fire department released the footage Wednesday afternoon.
