Unidentified Male Pedestrian Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. — An unidentified male pedestrian died of injuries suffered in a hit-and-run accident late Friday night in Norwalk, police said.

At 9:14 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a car accident involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Martin Luther King Drive and Lowe Street, police said. 

Arriving officers found a man lying in the street suffering from life-threatening injuries, police said. 

The vehicle that had struck the pedestrian fled the scene before officers arrived, police said. 

The man was transported to Norwalk Hospital, where he died of his injuries, police said. 

Officers later located the suspect vehicle at an address on Ely Avenue,police said. 

Accident Investigator Wasilewski is actively investigating the incident with the assistance of the Crime Scene Unit.
