Two Greenwich PD Members To Be Promoted

GREENWICH, Conn.- Two members of the Greenwich Police Department will be promoted Aug. 9 at the Public Safety Complex. The candidates will be sworn in by First Selectman Peter Tesei.

Sgt. James Bonney, who has been with the Greenwich Police Department for more than 20 years, will be promoted to the rank of lieutenant. Before joining the force, he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Dowling College and graduated from the Connecticut State Municipal Police Academy in 1991.

Technician Alton Hall graduated from the Connecticut State Municipal Police Academy in 1993 before joining the Greenwich Police Department in 1992. He will be promoted to the rank of sergeant during the ceremony.
