New York and Connecticut State Police have set up a bypass onto King Street in Greenwich to get traffic around the disabled tractor-trailer.

Traffic was quickly backing up from Greenwich into New York along the Hutchinson River Parkway.

Greenwich Police spokesperson Lt. Gray said that it will take at least an hour to clear out the truck.  Gray expects the road to be cleared by rush hour later on Monday, he said.

Gray also recommended local Greenwich residents to avoid the King Street area near Route 15 until later on Monday.
