GREENWICH, Conn. — Three teens driving a car stolen out of Greenwich took police on a chase through several town in Westchester County, N.Y., and all three landed behind bars, according to the Bedford Police Department.
The incident began at 3:35 a.m. Sunday, when Bedford Police received a report that a stolen green Honda CRV out of Greenwich was last seen traveling north North Street near the Connecticut/New York border, said Lt. Matthew T. Hawley.
Within a few minutes, Bedford Police saw the vehicle making a right turn from Greenwich Road onto Old Post Road and attempted to pull them over on Pound Ridge Road.
When the driver failed to stop, a chase continued into Pound Ridge and then onto Route 124 in Lewisboro, but the driver of the stolen vehicle still refused to stop, Hawley said.
