Strong Arm Robbery Suspects Sought By Police In Greenwich Attack

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A man in Greenwich was assaulted and robbed by three men with a gun Saturday night, according to police.

The alleged assault took place at approximately at 10:30 p.m. on Railroad Avenue, police said.

The 38-year-old victim told police he was walking east on Hamilton Avenue when he saw three individuals loitering on Hamilton near Stone Avenue, according to police.

The suspects followed him to Railroad Avenue where they suddenly confronted him, striking him in the face, knocking him to the ground, and kicking him while he was down, said police.

The attackers stole the victim's cell phone and wallet, according to police.

The victim described the suspects as male with two out of the three being black, while the third suspect was either a light skinned black or Hispanic, said police.

All were of similar build and stood approximately 5’5” to 5’8” tall, according to police. The suspects were in their late teens or early 20’s, and were wearing dark clothing one a red hoodie and sunglasses, according to police.
