Stamford Teen Attacked With Brass Knuckles In Elementary School Parking Lot

STAMFORD, Conn. — A teen brought brass knuckles and a machete to ambush and assault another teen in the parking lot of an elementary school in Stamford Wednesday night, according to the Stamford Advocate.

The attack happened in the parking lot of Julia A. Stark Elementary School at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Stamford Advocate. The 18-year-old victim had driven a friend to the parking lot to meet someone, and when they arrived the friend got out, spoke to four teens in a Nissan and then ran off, the Stamford Advocate reported.

One of the four teens then attacked the victim, hitting him with brass knuckles and attacking his car with a machete, police told the Stamford Advocate. The victim ran off and called police, who were able to track down the Nissan with the four teens inside, according to the Stamford Advocate.

Inside the Nissan, police found the brass knuckles, the machete, and a pair of knives, the Stamford Advocate reported. The teen who assaulted the victim was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree criminal mischief, weapons in a motor vehicle, second-degree threatening and carrying a dangerous weapon, the Stamford Advocate reported. The other three teens in the car were charged with possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle and conspiracy to commit second-degree assault, according to the Stamford Advocate.
