Police told the Stamford Advocate that 22-year-old Richard Jeter pulled over on North Street on Aug. 5 and began punching a 24-year-old man. Jeter threw the other man to the ground and began hitting him in the face and head, breaking his jaw in the process, according to the Stamford Advocate.
The victim told police that he had recognized Jeter from time spent together at the Boys and Girls Club, and they were able to identify him using Facebook, the Stamford Advocate reported. Jeter was arrested Wednesday and charged with second-degree assault, the Stamford Advocate reported.
