Stamford Man Arrested In Connection With NYC Shooting

A man wanted for a shooting in New York City was scooped up by Stamford Police while he attending a court hearing for another crime, according to Stamford Police.

Terrence Dugue, 22, of Dale Street in Stamford, was arrested around 10 a.m. Thursday while appearing in court after NYPD officials contacted Stamford police for help in locating Dugue who was wanted for shooting into an apartment, said Capt. Richard Conklin.

The arrest was carried out by Stamford Police, BCI, the department's drug task force and special response team without incident, he said.

City officials were able to obtain a warrant for a search of his Dale Street where they found the clothes he was wearing while committing the NYC crime which was caught on surveillance camera, Conklin said.

He is being held on $250,000 until he is extradited to NYC.
