The resident made the complaint Thursday morning after the incident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The caller said her dog was attacked by a tri-colored St. Bernard named “Jagger,” police said. The same dog also attacked her dog three weeks ago, she told police.

The caller said there were no puncture wounds on her dog but she said the dog is "sore," police said.

Also, the male owner of the St. Bernard was verbally aggressive with her at the time of the incident, she told police said.

The animal control officer spoke to a witness, who verified the incident, police said. The witness said the dog owner was also verbally aggressive toward him, police said.

The Easton animal control officer is investigating and seeking to speak to the owner of the St. Bernard.
