Police on Thursday arrested Miguel Feliciano, 27, of New Street, Shelton, charging him with second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and risk of injury to a minor involving intimate parts.
The arrest stems from a complaint taken in May in which Feliciano was accused of giving the girl narcotics at a friend’s house, police said.
When she was under the influence, he had sex with her several times, police said.
During the investigation, police learned Feliciano is a registered sex offender who was not in compliance with the state of Connecticut.
He was held on $150,000 bond and brought to Derby Superior Court Friday.
