GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Greenwich woman is facing a larceny charge after she was spotted by employees at LF Stores stealing a piece of clothing on July 1, police said.
Ashleigh Kate Singer, 31, of 51 Forest Ave., Apt. 100 in Old Greenwich turned herself in to police on July 20 and was charged with sixth-degree larceny, police said.
She posted $10,000 bond and was given a court date of Aug. 9.
Her bond apparently was set high because Singer has had run-ins with the law in the past. She pleaded guilty to third-degree burglary on Nov. 12, 2014, in Stamford court.
She was sentenced to a five-year suspended sentence and three years of probation. She had also been charged with committing a burglary at a home on King Street in Greenwich in September 2014.
