Norwalk Police Plan DUI Checkpoint On Saturday Night

NORWALK, Conn. - The Norwalk Police Department will conduct a checkpoint to catch drunken drivers Saturday night on West Avenue.

The checkpoint, which the department conducts periodically, will run from 7 p.m. Saturday to 3 a.m. Sunday morning. It will be located between Reed Street and I-95.

Norwalk police conduct the checkpoints with funding from a state grant designed to help rid the roads of motorists who are driving under the influence.
