Norwalk Man Busted On Drug Charges

NORWALK, Conn. – A Norwalk man was arrested and 40 bags of heroin were seized during the execution of a search warrant Wednesday afternoon, Norwalk Police say.

Joshua Tucker, 27, of 43 Stevens St. was arrested and police found four bundles of heroin (10 bags each), steroids and syringes during the search, which stemmed from an undercover investigation, Lt. Thomas Mattera said.

Police had three arrest warrants on Tucker as a result of the investigation, which involved Westport Police and special services officers. They say he sold drugs to an undercover officer three times.

Tucker was charged with three counts of illegal manufacture/distribution/sale/prescription drugs, possession of a controlled substance or less than four grams of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of narcotics, sale/possession within distance of a school, criminal attempt and drug paraphernalia. Bond was $100,000.
