New Canaan Police Hosting 2nd Annual Drive To Collect Toys, Coats, Food

NEW CANAAN, Conn. — The New Canaan Police Union is hosting its second annual Toy, Coat and Food Drive on Saturday, Dec. 23, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Residents are invited to bring unopened toys, lightly worn coats and nonperishable goods to the New Canaan Playhouse at 89 Elm St.

All collected items will all be given to TheVine Cottage of New Canaan for those within the community in need.

This is the second annual New Canaan Police Union Food/Coat/Toy drive.

"Last year was a huge success, and The Vine Cottage was very appreciative for all the goods we delivered," New Canaan police said in a statement.
