Connecticut State Police said troopers responded to the parkway between exits 28-29 shortly after 3 p.m. to find that the motorcyclist had suffered minor injuries and was in need of medical attention.
Though the motorcyclist was taken to an area hospital for evaluation, the driver of the car was uninjured, police said, adding that the motorcycle had to be towed from the scene while the car was driven away without issue.
Greenwich firefighters along with a local ambulance also responded to the crash with firefighters working to clean up a small amount of oil spilled by the motorcycle, according to authorities.
State police said they cleared the crash site by about 5 p.m. It was not clear Thursday night whether either driver would face charges in connection to the crash.
