GREENWICH, Conn. – A Greenwich woman was charged with evading responsibility for allegedly hitting a dog with her car on Meadowcroft Lane and leaving the scene, police report.

Police identified the driver as Shari Lampert, 54, of 31 Meadowcroft Lane. She was released on a $250 bond and is due in court on Thursday. The accident was reported on June 7.
