Greenwich Teen Charged With Stealing At Party

GREENWICH, Conn. — An 18-year-old Greenwich man was arrested on Sunday, July 15, in connection with the theft of money and household items from a Riverside home, police said.

David Giacomara, of 31 Harold Ave., allegedly was "responsible for part of the theft" while attending a teen's party, police said. The teen was in charge of feeding a friend's cat while the friend was on vacation and invited other people to the house when the theft occurred. The family reported the incident upon returning home.

Giacomara was charged with fifth-degree larceny, a misdemeanor, and third-degree burglary, a felony. He was released on a $1,000 bond and is due in court July 23.
