Greenwich Swears In Riverside Resident As Newest Police Officer

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Jeffrey R. Franco, a 2003 Greenwich High School graduate, was sworn in as the town's newest police officer during a ceremony Wednesday, April 23, according to Patch.com. 

Greenwich High School alum Jeffrey Franco was recently sworn in as the newest member of the Greenwich Police force.

Franco comes to the force from Bridgeport, where he has been serving since 2011. Because of his previous experience, he will not have to attend the police academy and should be in the field within six weeks, Patch.com reported.
