Greenwich Selectmen Appoint Fire Marshal In Split Vote

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Board of Selectmen voted along party lines to appoint a new fire marshal on Thursday, April 24, according to Patch.com.

Republican Selectman Avid Theis and First Selectman Peter Tesei, who's also the town's fire commissioner, voted to appoint Deputy Fire Marshal Shawn McDonnell, while Democrat Drew Marzullo nominated acting Fire Marshal Rob Natale, Patch.com reported. 

McDonnell was approved with a 2-1 vote. Marzullo dissented on his nomination because Natale was endorsed by Fire Chief Peter Siecienski, Patch.com said.
