Greenwich Robbery Suspect Injures Three Officers And Himself During Arrest

GREENWICH, Conn. — A suspect in a Greenwich vandalism and robbery injured three police officers and himself while being arrested over the weekend, according to Greenwich Time.

Police were called to a Cos Cob home on a report of a vandalism Sunday afternoon and determined that the suspect, 33-year-old Robert Moran of Queens, had also taken items from the residents, according to Greenwich Time.

When Moran tried to run from officers, he got in a fight with them while resisting, police told Greenwich Time. After he was subdued, Moran was treated at Greenwich Hospital, as were three officers who were treated and released, according to Greenwich Time. 

Moran was charged with robbery, criminal mischief, assault on a police officer and threatening, according to Greenwich Time. He was held on a $100,000 bond.
