Greenwich Police Welcome Two New Officers

GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Police Department recently swore in two new officers, including one from Pound Ridge, according to Patch.com.

Hayes C. Sgaglio of Pound Ridge, N.Y., and Roberto A. Tiburcio of New City, N.Y., were both sworn in with First Selectman and Police Commissioner Peter Tesei administering the oath on Tuesday, April 1, Patch.com reported. 

Sgaglio is a graduate of St. Peter's College in New Jersey and previously worked as a medical assistant, Patch.com said. 

The two new officers will have six months of training at the Connecticut Police Academy in Meriden, beginning on Friday, April 4, according to Patch.com.
