Greenwich Police Seek Man Who Eluded Search Warrant

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A man slipped away when officers arrived to execute a search warrant at his Cos Cob residence Monday evening, police said.

Police were releasing few details about the incident, which occurred at about 6 p.m. 

The suspect "eluded police," said Lt. Kraig Gray despite a search that included a K-9 unit and a heavy police presence in the neighborhood.

Gray said police have applied for an arrest warrant for the individual. He said the incident occurred in the area of Sinawoy Road.
