GREENWICH, Conn. -- A spike in domestic violence cases last year -- rising to 269 from 227 in 2014 -- is troubling local police, according to a report in Greenwich Time.

The Time story quoted Greenwich Lt. Kraig Gray as saying that police will re-double efforts to use all their resources to combat what they consider a public-health crisis, including continuing to work with the local YWCA’s domestic abuse services.
