Greenwich Police Say Norwalk Man Sent Lewd Text Messages To Teens

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Norwalk man was arrested at the Greenwich Avenue Chipotle Restaurant on charges that he had inappropriate contact with younger high school students, including sending lewd text messages and unwanted touching, Greenwich police said.

Greenwich Police also alleged that Malik Ashley, 21, of 22 Cottontail Road, offered the high school-age students marijuana. 

He was arrested at the Chipotle restaurant just before 3 p.m. Monday and was charged with risk of impairing morals and second-degree breach of peace. He was unable to post $50,000 bond. His first scheduled court appearance is Dec. 27.
