Greenwich Police Department Welcomes Two New Officers

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Shane Geary and Matt Swift have successfully completed their probation periods and have become Greenwich Police Officers, the department said.

Becoming a Greenwich Police Officer involves an initial hiring and exam process. In addition, officers are required to successfully complete the Connecticut Basic Police Academy, Field Training and a probation period. The whole process takes over two years.
