Greenwich Officer Honored For Apprehending Career Criminals

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Police Officer Ryan Beattie has had a busy month, arresting career criminals and earning himself Officer of the Month honors.

On three separate incidents, Beattie located and apprehended a total of eight career criminals, police said. Detectives were able to leverage the intelligence from these arrests to further other local investigations.

"His actions demonstrated exceptional initiative and investigative aptitude," police said. "Great police work often starts with simple proactive patrol. Great job!"
