GREENWICH, Conn. -- The nanny for a Round Hill Road family is facing two-dozen charges after she opened up a credit card in the name of her employer, Greenwich police said.
Shyniqua Lanne McClintock, 23, of 7 Armstrong Court, Greenwich, was arrested Saturday, police said.
Her employer told police he had hired McClintock six months ago to help care for his and his wife’s two sons and to help his wife around their house.
The man told police he suspected that she had opened a Discover card in his name and went to police with his suspicions.
Police charged McClintock with eight counts each of illegal use of a credit card and receiving goods or services obtained illegally and three counts of sixth-degree larceny. She is also charged with one count each of fourth-degree larceny, making a false statement, third-degree identity theft, criminal impersonation and second-degree forgery.
She was released after posting $25,000 bond is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Stamford on Friday.
