Greenwich Man Robbed on Railroad Avenue Sunday Night, Greenwich Police Say

GREENWICH, Conn., -- Police are searching for three suspects after a man was attacked and robbed while walking in Greenwich late Sunday.

Around 10:30 p.m. a 38-year-old man Greenwich man was walking east on Hamilton Avenue when he saw three men loitering on Hamilton Avenue near Stone Avenue.

The suspects followed him to Railroad Avenue where they suddenly confronted him striking him in the face, knocking him to the ground, and kicking him while he was down. The suspects stole his cell phone and wallet.

All three suspects were male with two out of the three suspects being black, while the third suspect was either a light skinned black or Hispanic. They were of similar build and stood approximately 5’5” to 5’8” tall. The suspects were in their late teens or early 20’s. The suspects wore dark clothing with one wearing a red hoodie with eyeglasses.
