Taiel Gookool of Greenwich was arrested on a warrant Tuesday morning at Bantam Superior Court. He was charged with second-degree sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and providing alcohol to a minor. He was held on $100,000 bond for his arraignment Tuesday, state police said in a statement.
He also refused to cooperate during processing and was charged with refusal to submit to fingerprinting, state police said.
The complaint was made by the victim's father back on Nov. 12 to Montville police, state police said.
The case was originally assigned to the North Canaan resident state trooper's office for investigation. It was reassigned to the Western District Major Crime Squad, and the arrest was made after a lengthy investigation, state police said.
