GREENWICH, Conn, -- A Greenwich man has been charged with driving under the influence after police stopped him for running a stop sign on Byram Road, police told Patch.com.

During the traffic stop early on New Year's Eve, the driver showed signs of inebriation and failed a sobriety test, according to the article.

Gary C. McMaster, 57, is slated to appear in Stamford Superior Court on Jan. 14, the report said.
