Greenwich Dog Dies After Falling Through Ice On Mianus River

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich first responders were unable to save a dog that fell through the ice on the Mianus River on Wednesday, Dec. 25, according to greenwichtime.com. 

The dog fell into the water near the owner's house on Cary Road. The owner attempted to go in to save the dog, but all efforts proved to be unsuccessful, greenwichtime reported.
