A 42-year-old Fairfield County woman was arrested following a fight with another person over a child.

Kimberly Stowers Gibbs, 42, of Stamford, was arrested July 4 after Greenwich Police responded to a home on Dearfield Road in Cos Cob for an altercation, said the arrest report.

When officers arrived, they found Gibbs had ripped the shirt of the victim while trying to get a juvenile from the victim, the report said.

Gibbs then pushed another juvenile to the ground in the process, police said.

She was charged with disorderly conduct and risk of injury to a child.

Gibbs is being held on $2,500 bond.
