Elderly Woman Dies In Greenwich House Fire

GREENWICH, Conn. — An elderly woman who was pulled from her burning home in Greenwich on Sunday afternoon died from her injuries at Stamford Hospital, according to Greenwich Time.

Firefighters found the woman on the first floor of the home at 4 Windsor Lane and unsuccessfully attempted to revive her with CPR, Greenwich Time said. Her identity was not released, pending notification of her family, Greenwich Time said.

The fire, which began in the garage, is under investigation by the Greenwich and state fire marshal’s office.
