Cops: Greenwich Woman Shoplifted From Department Store

GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Greenwich woman shoplifted items from Richard's Department Store on Greenwich Avenue last week, according to a police report.

Taylor Breitbart, 31, was charged with third-degree larceny after police found her in possession of shoplifted items in a private parking lot on the property of the store, police said.

At the time the report was released, Breitbart was being held at the Greenwich Police Department on $2,000 bond.

In other police news:

An 18-year-old Greenwich man appeared in court on Monday stemming from an arrest in August on third-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor charges. The contents of the warrant have been sealed because he was a minor at the time of the incidents. Per a court order, he was sent to the Bridgeport Juvenile Detention Center.
