Around 11:30 p.m., officers responded to a report of a person having been on a Jonathan Lane property, trying to push her way into the home and threatening to shoot one of the homeowners, police said.

The victim reported the woman, later identified as Cristin Towle, 35, of Park Avenue, knocked on her door and refused to leave, police said. When a second homeowner came to the door, Towle walked away and met her boyfriend, Seneca Abreu, 40, also of Park Avenue, near the road.

The victims told police they could hear her say “We’re coming back and we’re gonna shoot him,” referring to the homeowner.

When an officer spotted the pair on Riverside Avenue, Towle told him they were simply taking a walk, police said.

While Towle and Abreu were detained, officers found 11 bundles of heroin, a syringe, a tourniquet and a small metal candleholder in the zipper pocket of Abreu’s shorts, police said.

Towle was charged with threatening and first-degree criminal trespass. Abreu was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

Each was held on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 3.
