Firefighters responded to the scene after the car hit the side of Bellmore Liquors at the intersection of West Putnam Avenue and Josephine Evaristo Avenue. Josephine Evaristo Avenue was briefly closed at the intersection while emergency workers responded, but it was later reopened, according to fire officials. 

There was no word of any injuries in the incident.
