GREENWICH, Conn. — Burying Hill Road in Greenwich was closed Friday afternoon due to downed wires, the Greenwich Fire Department announced via Twitter.
Eversource has been notified, and the road is closed in the area, fire officials said.
On Friday, Greenwich was still cleaning up after a powerful rainstorm Thursday. As of 5:30 p.m. Friday, a total of 649 customers in Greenwich were still without power, Eversource said.
All outages were expected to be repaired by midnight.
