Update 6:30 p.m.: GREENWICH, Conn. -- Metro-North trains were running Wednesday evening but with residual delays of up to an hour after police activity near the Greenwich train station, Metro-North said.
A search for a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred near the train station reportedly came up empty, officials said.
Original story: GREENWICH, Conn. -- Greenwich Police have been searching late Wednesday afternoon near the Greenwich train station for suspects in a nearby bank robbery, according to Metro-North officials.
Metro-North train service on the New Haven Line has been delayed up to 60 minutes, according to the railroad website . Trains were halted while police combed the area but service has been restored, Metro-North officials said.
